Nobody Does It Better Than Hogarth!

If you’re thinking about school for your young child you’ve come to the right place! For the third year in a row, Hogarth was nominated for Best Nursery/Daycare in the Seacoast area and took first place in 2016 and 2018. Hogarth has programs for children from 2.5 years old up through 5 years old, including children age-eligible for kindergarten whose parents have decided to delay kindergarten entry for a year. Our Early Kindergarten program is the perfect fit for these slightly older preschoolers.

We’ve been educating preschoolers at Hogarth since 1980. Because it’s the only thing we do, we do it with deep knowledge and intense focus. In fact, we do it so well that Andrea, Hogarth’s teaching/director, has been hired by several different educational publishers to write curriculum-related books for them. It’s why she writes her own stories, poems and songs for the Hogarth curriculum, a truly one-of-a kind early learning experience.

That curriculum is built into the school day, and learning goals are being met throughout the entire day. From the moment a child walks into the classroom and does Pocket Chart Attendance until the end of the day when everybody sings the Goodbye Song, the day is filled with learning moments. Whether the Mystery Kid is working with the Daily Agenda or groups of children are lounging together with a good book or working cooperatively to build an amazing castle, learning and fun fills each day.

Literacy learning is a primary focus of the Hogarth curriculum. To that end, the children dictate Daily Highlights to me during the school year, most of which are password protected. You’ll find a number of public posts here, which should give you a taste of what Hogarth has to offer young children and their families.

Everybody tweets at least once each week. Our Twitter account is private, but the children participate in the writing process with every 280 character tweet they compose.

If you’d like more information, give Andrea a call at 603-679-2097. She loves talking about Hogarth and would love to chat with you.

PLEASE NOTE: Much as we’d like to, we can’t be all things to all people. Hogarth offers preschool only. If you need an infant/toddler program or afterschool care for your school-aged child or childcare for your preschooler, Hogarth is not the right fit. Enrollment in multiple classes is an option, however, that works for some families.
