Happy Summer!

Even though school is closed for vacation this summer, I am still here and working most days. If you’re looking for a preschool for your little one, I’d be happy to sit down with you to talk about Hogarth. I currently have 1 opening in my Prekindergarten class, and 1 in my Creative Play Group. If you’re considering the Creative Play Group for your little boy, you should know that I have 13 girls enrolled, which is a first. I mention this only because I know that being the only little boy (or girl) in a class could be a tough fit for some children. I’ve never had an all-boys or all-girls class before. I’m feeling rather like Madeline‘s Miss Clavel in her Paris boarding school with her “12 little girls in 2 straight lines.”

I hope all of my students and their families are having a lovely summer, with at least one good adventure on the horizon. There are so many wonderful day trips out there. I recommend Salem Willows down in Salem, Massachusetts. I have been to the Willows at least once every summer for every summer I’ve been on the planet. There’s lots to do in Salem. It’s well worth a day trip.
