I’m not posting Highlights today, folks. I rarely miss a day, but today is one of those days. I got a text that Pearl, the cat I was adopting, was ready to be picked up this afternoon. As soon as school was over, I went to PetSmart to pick up the catty things I needed and then drove straight to Cat Tales (that’s how it’s spelled) in Seabrook. Pearl (who was Meredith until my student Caden suggested the name Pearl which I loved) and I are hanging out tonight, getting to know each other. The kids have been looking forward to me adopting a cat. They are going to be SO excited to know that Pearl is finally home. The Pet Wall is getting a new picture tomorrow!
